One Seed a Thousand Dreams

One Seed A Thousand Dreams documents the story of a man who dreamed of planting trees.  Inspired by Jean Giono’s book The Man Who Planted Trees, Gordon set out to reforest two pieces of land in Devon with native trees, planting and leaving trees for future generations. One Seed A Thousand Dreams tells the story of the man and the trees that are slowly transforming this landscape. This landscape is forever changing, as the trees grow and support new ecosystems.

Ash, one of the main species of trees planted over the two locations, is currently threatened with a deadly fungal disease, Ash dieback also known as chalara dieback affects trees of all ages and has caused the death of billions of Ash trees across North America and is currently affecting 70% of Ash in the UK.
