Packing a Bag

Packing a bag arose from questions about consumption, place, home and the fragility of the notion of home for millions of humans across the planet, due to war, persecution, and more recently climate refugees.

It progressed from an original collaboration with Richard Reid, which explored the value of personal belongings and things.

Packing a Bag is a unique experience where individuals are invited to consider what they would take with them on a journey. Each persons experience is unique to their personal history. Issues about home, displacement, domestic violence, persecution, the fragility of life, consumption, the value of things and the differences between us, all arise within this work.
